Three Wise Monkeys Table-top Bronze Statue

On a library mantel, three monkeys sit shoulder to shoulder, one covering its eyes, one its ears, one its mouth, a small, wry sermon on discretion. It is a piece that invites a slow look and a half-smile, best enjoyed in the quiet hour after supper. Their fur is finely textured under your fingertips, and the bronze feels cool and weighty when you shift it on the shelf. With a pot of tea nearby and the fire ticking, the room seems to settle into thoughtful silence.

The trio was modelled in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, then finished in a multi-toned patina that throws soft shadows and highlights and develops character over time. Solid and steady, it suits a desk, credenza, bookshelf or a quiet meditation corner.
