Three Satyr Bronze Table Base

Beneath a round tabletop in a candlelit dining room, three satyrs stand back to back, shoulders braced, as if holding up the feast itself. In the flicker of evening light their expressive faces seem to grin and shift, and conversation tends to drift their way. Reach down and the bronze is all muscle and curl, cool and finely worked under your hand. With a glass of red wine poured above them, the room feels faintly Mediterranean, warm and convivial.

The figures were modelled in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, then finished in a multi-toned patina that throws soft shadows and highlights. Arranged for balance and stability, the base is made to carry a glass, marble or granite top and looks especially fine in a dining room, library or wine room.
