Smoking Bulldog Figurine Table-top Bronze Statue

On the corner of a leather-topped desk, a bulldog sits with a cigar clamped firmly in its jowls, wearing the expression of a gentleman entirely at ease. It suits the low glow of a reading lamp and the quiet tick of a clock in a study after dinner. Its wrinkled brow and heavy jowls are a pleasure to trace with a fingertip, the bronze small, cool and satisfyingly weighty in the hand. You can almost catch a drift of pipe tobacco and old books in the air around it.

The bulldog was cast in solid bronze by the lost-wax method and finished in a rich, multi-tonal patina that warms and deepens over time. Compact and steady, it is suited to indoor or outdoor display and is happiest on a desk, bookshelf, mantel or bar cart.
