Remington 'Scalp' Table-Top Bronze Statue

A warrior on horseback raises his arm in a moment of high drama, the horse twisting beneath him. Set on a mantel in a quiet study, the piece seems almost to stir in the flicker of the fire, and the room smells of woodsmoke and old books. The horse's mane and the rider's details are sharp under the fingertips, the marble base cool and polished. It brings the energy of the frontier to a library or den.

It is a bronze reproduction of a powerful Western sculpture, cast by the lost-wax method, finished with a hand-applied patina and set on a polished marble base. It is best displayed indoors, on a desk, mantel or display case.
