Marvella Counter Stool

Kitchens have moved outdoors, and the seats around them deserve some charm. A little shorter than its bar-height sibling, this counter stool has the same rounded back of honey-toned hand-woven wicker, its upper edge finished in a band of open scalloped loops, and a cream cushioned seat that invites lingering over coffee. A footrest keeps things comfortable. Set a row along the counter of an outdoor kitchen, where the smell of the grill mingles with basil growing in a trough nearby and the evening light turns the weave the colour of toffee.
