Mandarin Double Recamier
Mandarin Double Recamier
(free shipping)
A recamier is made for afternoons that call for nothing more than a book and the sound of rain on the roof. This double version, from O'Brien Ironworks' Dynasty collection and made for indoor rooms, stretches seventy inches long with a seat fifty inches wide and sixty deep, broad enough for two or for one to sprawl. Set it in a sunroom among kentia palms and potted orchids, or at the foot of a bed in a guest room that looks onto the garden. Pile it with a deep cushion and soft pillows, and in white or faux verdigris it takes on the airy calm of a conservatory.
