Mandarin Coat Rack

Coming in from the garden, there is always something to set down: a straw hat, a canvas apron, a pair of muddy boots. The Mandarin Coat Rack from O'Brien Ironworks' Dynasty collection, made for indoor rooms, gathers it all in one handsome place. Standing over seven feet tall and forty-five inches wide, it includes a seat thirty-eight inches across at a comfortable seventeen inches, ideal for pulling off boots by the back door. Place it in a mudroom, a garden room or a front hall, with a basket of trowels and a pot of fern beneath it, and in black or French blue it lends the doorway a touch of Eastern elegance.
