L'Nonchalance Cherub Bronze Statue - Table-Top Sculpture

On a low garden wall warmed by the afternoon sun, a cherub lounges in perfect ease, as if nothing in the world could hurry it. The pose is relaxed and a little mischievous, the kind of figure that makes you smile as you pass with a basket of cut roses. Bees hum in the lavender nearby, and the bronze is warm and smooth under your palm. Indoors, on a broad console, it brings the same lazy summer feeling to a room.

Sculpted in clay and cast in bronze by the traditional lost-wax method, the cherub is finished with a hand-applied patina that develops a lovely natural depth over time. It suits indoor or outdoor placement and looks best where it can recline at eye level, on a wall, console or wide plinth. This is the last one of its kind.
