Little Boy with Cat Bronze Statue

Halfway along a garden path, a young boy pauses with his cat, the two of them sharing a quiet, trusting moment. Sunlight filters through the leaves overhead, and the air smells of cut grass and warm stone. The cat's fur is rendered so softly that the hand reaches out to stroke it, and the boy's face is open and gentle. It is the sort of scene that brings back a summer afternoon from long ago.

Cast in solid bronze by the lost-wax method, the piece carries a hand-applied patina that gains warmth and character over time, and its weather-resistant construction suits the garden as well as the house. It looks best along a path, in a courtyard or in a children's garden.
