Jewels Garden Stool - Blue

Rain on a still pond leaves a surface of tiny craters for a moment before it settles, and the glaze on this stool holds that texture for good. Blue-grey and slightly pitted, it gathers small bubbles and pools of deeper colour, touched with paler white where the surface thins. The hourglass form gives it a gentle waist and a broad, steady top. Set it near a water feature, where the sound of moving water suits its look, or among blue hostas and Japanese forest grass along a shady path. It also makes a handsome stand for a bonsai.
