Hepplewhite Side Chair
Hepplewhite Side Chair
(free shipping)
Some chairs are made for lounging; this one is made for long lunches. The Hepplewhite Side Chair borrows its name and its upright grace from Georgian dining chairs, translated into metal for O'Brien Ironworks' Gothic Revival collection. Without arms, it tucks neatly under a garden table and lets you seat a crowd around it. Line six along a table set beneath an old live oak, with hurricane lamps and a jug of garden roses down the centre, or pair two with a small bistro table in a courtyard where a wall fountain keeps up its gentle patter through the meal.
