Hand holding Marble Ball Table-top Bronze Statue

Late afternoon light slides across a bookshelf and finds a bronze hand, fingers gently curled around a sphere of polished marble. The stone holds a cool, glassy shine that begs to be touched, and the palm beneath it is warm-toned and finely creased. In a quiet study, with the scent of old paper and a cup of tea cooling nearby, it reads as a small pause in the room. Choose the ball in black, red or white marble to suit the colours around it.

The hand is sculpted first in clay and then cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, so every knuckle and line is carried into the metal. It rests on a polished black marble base and is made for indoor display, where it looks best on a coffee table, accent table or bookshelf.
