Entwined Pouf - Yellow

Some colours are pure sunlight. This braided pouf is the yellow of a sunflower's face or a Meyer lemon ready to pick, coiled round and round in hand-woven braids and finished with a neat blanket stitch at its rim. Low and round, twelve inches tall and eighteen across, it brings an instant spot of cheer to a shady corner. Set it against the deep green of a monstera on a screened porch, or beside a blue-glazed planter of lavender, where yellow and violet do what complementary colours always do and make each other sing.
