Entwined Pouf - Brown

Water a clay pot on a hot day and watch it darken from dusty pink to deep terracotta; that wet-clay colour is the brown of this braided pouf, with a touch of rust running through it. Braided yarn spirals out from the centre, hand-woven and finished with a blanket stitch around the rim. Low and round, it feels grounded and earthy, a natural partner for clay pots, cedar, and the bronze-leaved plants of a tropical border such as cordyline and coleus. Place it on a covered patio beside a chiminea, or by a bench in the herb garden.
