Pale as driftwood bleached on the tideline, this beige is so light it reads almost as ivory, and it brings a calm, airy note to wherever it is set. The pouf is made the slow way: braids of yarn hand-woven into a spiral and finished with a blanket-stitched edge, the coils catching soft shadows between them. It is low and round, a comfortable height for resting feet after an afternoon in the borders. Place it in a white garden scheme beside white hydrangeas and silver dichondra, or on a beach-house porch against grey-washed boards.
