English Wire Garden Bench
English Wire Garden Bench
(free shipping)
Victorian gardeners loved wirework for its lightness: a bench that seemed sketched in the air rather than built. This English Wire Garden Bench carries the tradition forward, its open pattern letting the green of the lawn and the dapple of shade show through, so that even at six feet long it never sits heavily on a planting. Place it in a cottage garden among foxgloves, delphiniums and sweet peas, or beneath an old live oak where Spanish moss stirs overhead. White is the classic choice, crisp as a starched tablecloth against greenery; sage or faux verdigris lets it fade softly into a fern walk.
