Dragon Candle Holder Bronze Statue Set - Table-Top Sculptures

At either end of a long table set for an autumn supper, two dragons hold their candles aloft, scales flickering gold in the moving flame. The room smells of warm wax and roasting apples, and the low murmur of conversation is broken only by the soft hiss of a wick. Shadows from their curling forms dance across the tablecloth and the walls, turning an ordinary evening into something from an old tale. Touch one and the bronze is cool beneath the warmth of the candle, every scale and expression finely detailed.

The dragons were modeled in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, finished with a hand-applied patina that develops a natural depth over time. At 20 pounds they stand steadily on a dining table, mantel or sideboard, and are suited to both indoor rooms and sheltered outdoor spaces.
