Directoire Side Table Base
Directoire Side Table Base
(free shipping)
Small tables do a great deal of quiet work in a garden: a resting place for a glass of lemonade, a trowel, a pair of secateurs, a jam jar of sweet peas. This Directoire side table base is compact at 20 by 16 inches and stands 19 inches high, a natural companion to a lounge chair or the end of a settee. Its restrained neo-classical form lets the top, whether stone, glass or marble, take the eye. Place it beside an armchair on a shady porch hung with Boston ferns, or next to the bench at the far end of the garden, where the evening primrose opens at dusk.
