Daniella Swivel Chair

On a terrace with a view in two directions, a swivel chair saves a great deal of shuffling. This one turns on a swivel base beneath a slender aluminium frame, hand-painted in soft grey, with gently curving arms and generous white cushions that you sink into rather than sit on. Angle it towards the garden for morning coffee, then round to the pool as the afternoon heat builds and the cicadas start to sing. Surrounded by silver-leaved plants and white agapanthus, it looks cool even in July.
