Daniella Coffee Table

Picture a garden room just after rain: puddles drying on the flagstones, the smell of wet earth and gardenia drifting in through the screens, and a broad grey surface waiting for the coffee tray. This is the lower, wider companion to the Daniella end table, a softened square of matte grey stone raised on one hand-painted aluminium pedestal. With no corner legs there is nothing to catch a knee, and plenty of room for books, a bowl of limes or a potted maidenhair fern. It sits easily in front of an outdoor sofa on a screened porch or a sheltered loggia.
