Chippendale Statement Tree Box - 30" Panels
(free shipping)
The tree box is the garden's frame for a living sculpture: a clipped bay standard, a Meyer lemon heavy with fruit, a column of podocarpus by the front door. This Chippendale Statement Tree Box sets that specimen within panels of crisp, geometric fretwork, the eighteenth century's favourite pattern for garden railings and pavilions. At 30 inches square and over 34 inches tall it has true presence, made to stand in pairs on either side of a doorway or at the corners of a pool terrace. O'Brien Ironworks forges it to order in iron or aluminium. In white it reads crisp and coastal; in black it sharpens every leaf.
