Chinese Chippendale Daybed
Chinese Chippendale Daybed
(free shipping)
A daybed is an invitation to stop: to lie back after a swim, listen to rain drumming on the roof, and let the afternoon go. This Chinese Chippendale Daybed is generously proportioned, six feet wide and five feet deep, with crisp Chippendale latticework framing a deep lounging seat. Dressed with a thick cushion and a pile of pillows, it makes a wonderful centrepiece for a sunroom, a pool house or a garden room lined with potted palms and orchids. Hang a muslin curtain nearby to catch the breeze. In white it is all tropical cool; in Chinese red or faux cherry it becomes something warmer and richer, glowing in lamplight.
