Centurion Curule Demilune Console Base

Neo-classical rooms often turn on a single well-placed piece, and a slim demilune is among the most useful. Thirty inches wide and only fifteen deep, this curule console base fits a narrow wall in a hallway, a garden room or a sheltered loggia, standing at a proper console height of thirty-four inches. Crown it with a half-round of marble and a pair of urns planted with ivy, or a single pot of white orchids, and it gives the space an air of considered calm. Dark grey or black suits a classical scheme; white feels lighter and more Gustavian.
