Brick Lane Garden Stool - Brown

The amber-brown of this glaze recalls dark honey held up to a window, or the glassy shoulder of a molasses jug on a farmhouse shelf. It runs over a cylinder embossed with a geometric pattern, collecting in the recesses and thinning on the raised edges so the design glows in relief. Warm and substantial, the stool has a natural place in an autumn garden of rust-coloured chrysanthemums and bronze fennel, or on a brick terrace beneath a pergola heavy with muscadine vines. Keep it beside a reading chair for a cup of coffee and a pair of secateurs.
