Bizen Garden Stool - White

Think of a stack of smooth pebbles from a cold-water beach, bleached and polished, then imagine them glazed the white of a gardenia petal. Four soft tiers swell and narrow from base to top, and the high gloss turns each one into a small mirror for the sky. In a green garden it reads as a pause, a cool, bright note among ferns and the dark leaves of camellias. Bring it onto a screened porch beside a wicker chair, or tuck it next to the outdoor shower beneath a clump of white ginger lilies, whose scent drifts in after rain.
