'Bennett' Male Golfer Table-top Bronze Statue

Late afternoon light slants across a library desk, and there he is, caught at the top of his swing, every line of him drawn tight with concentration. The bronze holds a warm, low gleam against the cool black of the polished marble beneath him, and the room seems to hush around him the way a gallery goes quiet before a putt. Run a fingertip along the club and the metal is smooth and faintly cool, like the air over a first tee still silver with dew. You can almost hear the soft swish of the swing and catch the green scent of cut grass drifting through an open window.

He is cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, which keeps the fine detail of the grip, the stance and the focused expression, and he rises from a polished black marble base. The patina deepens gently with the years, and he looks most at home on a study desk, a credenza or a clubhouse mantel where the evening light can find him.
