Antibes Dining Chair

A good dining chair should look as handsome from behind as from the front, since that is how most guests first meet it. This armchair manages both: a slim black aluminium frame curves round into its arms, and a striped bolster in taupe and charcoal sits across the back above a matching cushioned seat. The stripes give a table a cheerful, holiday air. Arrange a set along a table beneath a pergola of climbing roses, with jugs of cosmos and zinnias down the middle and candles in hurricane glasses as the light fades.
