Alexia Garden Stool - Coral

Some garden pieces look as though they grew rather than were made. The Alexia stool has the scalloped crown of a mushroom cap and the flutes of a classical column, its rounded edges catching the light. A creamy tone at the top gives way to speckled coral below, flecked like a terrazzo floor or a hen's egg warmed in the sun. Set it beside a cane lounge chair on a shaded verandah, or among potted begonias and pink impatiens, where it picks up every blush in the flowers.
