Windsor Console Base
Windsor Console Base
(free shipping)
A hall should say something about the house before a word is spoken. The Windsor Console Base says it with the soaring, ecclesiastical grace of the Gothic Revival, its ironwork reading almost like the tracery of an old window. Four feet long, a slim 18 inches across and standing 36 inches tall, it fits gracefully against a foyer wall, behind a sofa in a garden room or along the glazed side of a conservatory. O'Brien Ironworks forges it to order. Crown it with marble or glass, then add a pair of candlesticks, a stack of garden books and a tall jug of white lilies whose scent fills the hall by evening.
