Whale Duo Table-top Bronze Statue

Two whales rise together in one long, unhurried curve, as if surfacing side by side through still morning water. Set on a console in a quiet sitting room, the pair seems to hush the space around it, the way the sea goes soft just before dawn. Trace the bronze and you feel the gentle texture of their skin give way to the cool, glassy polish of the black marble beneath. It is the kind of piece you notice with a slow breath, the room taking on a faint suggestion of salt air.

The duo was modelled in clay, cast in bronze by the lost-wax method and finished in a rich, multi-tonal patina that deepens every contour. It is made for indoor display, on a mantel, credenza or broad library table where both whales can be seen in the round.
