Walking Baby Elephant Bronze Statue

Halfway down the lawn a young elephant takes a tentative step, trunk reaching out to explore, ears spread wide as if catching the breeze. In the soft light of early evening it seems almost to sway, and children slow down as they pass. The bronze skin is creased and wrinkled under your hand, warm from the day's sun. Somewhere nearby cut grass and jasmine scent the air, and the whole garden feels a little more playful.

Modelled in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, the calf wears a rich patina that develops more character over time. Life-size and substantial, it makes a gentle focal point at the end of a garden walk, beside a gate, or in a generous interior entry hall.
