Swan Fountain Bronze Statue

Drifting at the centre of the pond, a swan arches its neck and lets a clear stream of water fall from its beak into the still surface below. The sound is light and continuous, a gentle pouring that softens the whole garden. Its wings are delicately feathered, cool and smooth under your hand, the bronze gleaming where the water runs. In the hush of early evening the air smells of wet stone and lily pads, and everything seems to slow down.

The swan was modelled in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, and is offered in a verdigris or a brown patina that grows warmer and richer over time. Suited to indoor or outdoor settings, it looks loveliest in a koi pond, a reflecting pool, at a pool edge or in a courtyard fountain basin.
