Solene End Table

Teak in the hand is warm and faintly ridged where the brush has opened the grain, a texture that makes you want to touch it in passing. This small end table shows it off: a round top of brushed, hand-finished teak, its planks fanning out from the centre like the rays of a sunburst, set on sculpted, fin-shaped legs. Put it beside a lounge chair with a book and a glass of lemonade, or on a balcony crowded with potted herbs, where basil and mint scent the air whenever the breeze lifts.
