Sitting Girl with Butterflies Bronze Statue

In a sunny corner of the cottage garden, a young girl sits among the flowers with a butterfly resting lightly in her open hand, while three more drift around her as if drawn by the scent of buddleia. You can almost hear the faint hum of the border and the rustle of her dress. The bronze is warm from the sun, the folds of the dress softly textured and the wings so fine you hesitate to touch them. It is a scene that makes you slow your step and breathe in the sweetness of a summer afternoon.

The figure was modelled in clay and cast in bronze, capturing the patterns of the dress and the delicate wings in close detail, and is offered with a blue or a brown dress. Suited to indoor or outdoor settings, it looks loveliest in a flower garden, a meditation space or a calm sunlit corner indoors.
