Selune Accent Floor Lamp

Think of a lantern carried out onto the veranda after supper and set down beside a chair. Selune captures that gesture and makes it permanent. A white shade sits atop a slim stem of black-painted iron, which rises five feet from a round base given a sandy, textured black finish. Nothing about it competes with the planting; it simply marks a place to sit. Put it on a screened porch between a rattan armchair and a potted kentia palm, where night-blooming jasmine drifts in through the mesh and the shade hangs in the dark like a small pale moon.
