Saint Pio Table-top Bronze Statue

On a small home altar, beside a flickering candle, Saint Pio stands in his Capuchin habit with hands raised in prayer, his face turned inward in deep contemplation. The room grows hushed around him, as quiet as a chapel between Masses. The folds of the habit are finely rendered, the bronze cool and smooth, resting on a slab of polished black marble that gleams in the candlelight. A trace of beeswax and incense in the air completes the sense of a sacred corner.

The figure was cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, with close detail in the face, the habit and the stigmata on his hands, and mounted on polished black marble. Made for indoor display, it suits a prayer room, an altar, a mantel or a bedside table.
