Roman Athlete Bronze Statue

A young Roman athlete stands in peak form on a polished black base, poised and balanced. On a bookshelf, in the soft light of a reading lamp, his muscles catch shadow and highlight. The bronze is smooth under the fingertips, the marble base cool and glassy. He brings a touch of classical grace to a study or display cabinet.

He is cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, finished with a hand-applied patina and mounted on a polished black marble base. He is meant for indoor display, on a desk, mantel or bookshelf.
