Regency Park Bench

Six feet of iron, set at the end of a long border, does what a full stop does at the end of a sentence: it gives the eye somewhere to rest. The Regency Park Bench is the full-length piece in the Regency collection by O’Brien Ironworks, with a tall back rising to forty-two inches and a seat wide enough for three. It belongs where the garden is at its most deliberate: framed by a pair of clipped bays, facing across a lily pond, or backed by a wall of climbing roses that drop their petals on the seat in June. Faux rust lends the warmth of a long-established estate; French blue makes a cooler, more Continental statement.
