Provence Settee

Sun on old stone, a hum of bees in the thyme, a book left open on the seat: the Provence Settee belongs to slow afternoons. At five feet long it seats two side by side, a more intimate proposition than a garden bench, with a back that holds you comfortably. O'Brien Ironworks forges it with the soft, rural curves of the French countryside. Add a cushion in faded linen or a striped outdoor fabric, then set it on a covered porch among potted kentia palms, or out in the open where clipped boxwood balls punctuate the gravel.
