Mini Snail Baby Table-top Bronze Statue

A baby naps beneath a snail's shell, curled up as if the afternoon had simply become too warm to stay awake. Tuck it among the thyme at the edge of a step, or on a windowsill where the curtains stir in the breeze. The spiral of the shell is ridged under a fingertip, the baby's cheek round and smooth. It is a small, gentle surprise for anyone who looks closely.

Cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, it is finished in a rich patina that develops charm over time, indoors or out. At this compact size it suits a desk, a nursery shelf or a shady spot in a container garden.
