Medium French Bulldog Bronze Statue

A French Bulldog sits by the back door, bat ears up, waiting for someone to notice him. Morning sun warms the flagstones and the air smells faintly of lavender from the nearby border. Stroke his head and the bronze is smooth over the brow, wrinkled where it should be across the muzzle. He keeps faithful company on a step, a porch or beside a favourite chair.

He is cast in solid bronze by the lost-wax method and finished with a hand-applied patina that develops beautifully over time, indoors or out. At a medium scale he looks right on a doorstep, at the edge of a terrace or by a hearth.
