Manhattan Side Table Base
Manhattan Side Table Base
(free shipping)
Some pieces are meant to be noticed; others simply hold the lamp, the novel and the glass of iced tea exactly where your hand expects them. The Manhattan side table base belongs to the second kind, drawn with the restrained, upright lines of the neo-classical tradition and forged in solid iron. At a low 18 inches it settles beside a reading chair in a garden room or sunroom, where it takes a round of honed marble or a sheet of clear glass. Choose deep black to frame a pot of maidenhair fern, or a soft sage that sits quietly among wicker and linen.
