Mandarin Club Chair
Mandarin Club Chair
(free shipping)
Chinoiserie has charmed Western gardens since the eighteenth century, when pagodas and fretwork bridges first appeared among English lawns. The Mandarin club chair, from the Dynasty collection, carries that East-meets-West spirit into a deep, comfortable seat. Its generous proportions invite a thick cushion, perhaps in jade or lacquer red, and it settles well on a screened porch among bamboo in tall glazed pots, or beside a lily pool where the koi rise at dusk and the scent of gardenia hangs in the warm air.
