Iguana on Rock Fountain Bronze Statue

At the edge of a still pond, an iguana basks on a rock, its long tail trailing in a lazy wave behind it. A clear ribbon of water spills from its mouth and patters into the pool below, a steady sound that softens the whole garden. The air near the water feels cooler and smells of wet stone and green leaves. Lean close and you can trace the ridges of its scales and the grip of its claws on the rock.

Sculpted in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, the iguana stretches a full 50 inches from nose to tail. It is made for indoor or outdoor placement and is happiest beside an existing pond or pool, among ferns and broad tropical leaves.
