Greek Key Garden Bench
Greek Key Garden Bench
(free shipping)
The Greek key is one of the oldest ornaments we have, a single line folding back on itself in an endless meander, and it has edged temple friezes and terracotta urns for thousands of years. Here it becomes something to lean against at the end of a long border. Set the bench where clipped boxwood gives way to lavender, so the scent rises as the sun warms the seat, or against a stuccoed wall hung with jasmine. In black it reads as crisp as an architect's drawing; in faux verdigris it looks as though it has stood there for decades.
