Four Frogs on Tree Bronze Table-top Statue

Four small frogs have settled into the branches of a bronze tree, each in its own pose, as if a pond's evening chorus has paused for a moment. On a desk or a library shelf it draws you in for a closer look, and then another. It recalls the cool, mossy smell of a pond edge after rain. The textured bark and the smooth, polished black marble base feel pleasingly different under the hand.

It was sculpted in clay and cast in bronze by the lost-wax method, finished in a brown and green patina and mounted on a polished black marble base. It is meant for indoor display and suits a desk, mantel or shelf.
