Faux Bamboo Side Table Base
(free shipping)
Every seat on a terrace wants somewhere to set down a glass of iced tea, a trowel or a paperback swollen from the humidity. This small rectangular base answers with the jointed, knuckled stems of faux bamboo, rendered in metal and sized to tuck beside a chair or chaise. Its proportions are modest enough for a narrow balcony, yet the bamboo detail gives it the presence of a much larger piece. Top it with glass to let the pattern show through, or with marble for weight and cool under the fingertips, and set it among clivia and bird's-nest ferns in the shade.
