Faith Garden Stool

Look closely at the glaze on this stool and it seems to move, like water in a fountain basin when the wind picks up. The drum-shaped body is worked with a rippling, wave-like texture, and the blue glaze runs and pools across it, from deep ink in the hollows to a lighter, almost denim tone where it thins over the ridges. It has the depth of a studio pot. Set it beside a fountain or a water bowl, near agapanthus and blue plumbago, where the colours echo one another.
