Fairborn End Table

Small tables earn their keep in the details: somewhere to set down a sweating glass, a pair of secateurs, a seed catalogue folded open at the dahlias. This round end table is the Fairborn coffee table in miniature, a slatted top over splayed legs joined by a crossed stretcher, all in hand-painted black aluminium. Its dark outline looks sharp against pale paving or a cascade of silver dichondra spilling from a pot. Tuck one beside each Fairborn chair on the porch, or use a single table on a balcony crowded with herbs.
