Directoire Garden Bench
Directoire Garden Bench
(free shipping)
Every long walk in a garden needs a destination, and a bench at the end of an allée is the oldest and best of them. This Directoire bench from O'Brien Ironworks offers nearly six feet of seat, room enough to sit together and watch the light move slowly across the lawn. Its neo-classical bearing suits formal settings: flanked by urns of agapanthus, set against a dark hedge of yew or podocarpus, or beneath the spreading branches of a live oak hung with Spanish moss. Made in iron or aluminium and finished by hand, it soon becomes part of the garden's bones.
